General Program Information

Our program is open to students entering Grades 9-12 in September 2025. We welcome students of all Spanish proficiency levels.

The program is for three weeks from June 8th to June 29th.

Students will take Spanish language classes at Colegio Delibes, a language school in Salamanca established in 1997, known for its small class sizes, experienced teachers, and engaging lessons.

Salamanca is a UNESCO World Heritage City and home to one of the world’s oldest universities. It is known for its pure Castilian Spanish accent, making it an ideal place for language learners.
Application & Enrollment

You can apply online by filling out the booking form on our website. Upon receipt of a $500 deposit, you will secure your spot.

April 30th is the application deadline for the June 2025 course.

No! We welcome students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. Students will be placed in appropriate class levels at Colegio Delibes.
Travel & Logistics

No, flights are extra on top of the course fee. Parents / Students have the option of making their own travel arrangements or requesting Aventura España to make the arrangements on their behalf.

Upon arrival in Madrid, students booking their travel through Aventura España will be greeted by our staff and transported to Salamanca via private bus transfer. Students who make their own travel arrangements will be met in Salamanca at their arrival destination.

Students need a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity from the return date). U.S. citizens do not require a visa for short stays in Spain.

Yes! Students will be under constant supervision by experienced program staff, both in Salamanca and during excursions. During their home stays, students will be supervised by their host families.
Accommodation & Meals

Students can choose between:
✔️ Host Family: Live with a carefully selected Spanish family for a full immersion experience.
✔️ Student Residence: Stay in a supervised student dormitory with other participants. -
The program includes three meals a day, provided by host families or at the student residence.

We accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary needs. You will be asked about this during the booking process.
Academic & Cultural Program

Students have 4 hours of interactive Spanish lessons each morning, in small groups (max. 12 students). Classes focus on speaking, listening, and real-world communication.

Each afternoon, students participate in guided tours of Salamanca, cooking classes, dance lessons, literary walks, and much, much more.

Yes! Students will enjoy exciting day trips to cities like Ávila, Segovia, and La Alberca to explore Spain beyond Salamanca.
Safety & Support

Yes, part of the fee paid includes travel insurance which covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost luggage.

All students have access to medical care in Salamanca, and we provide 24/7 support for any emergencies.

Students will have access to their phones in the evening. WiFi will be available at the language school and in their accommodations. We also provide daily updates to parents via a blog.
